Build Confidence. Develop Skill. Become Your Best Through Jiu-Jitsu.

Arete Jiu Jitsu Collective is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy focused on technical excellence, personal growth, and building a community where anyone can learn, improve, and challenge themselves.

§1.0 Core values

The system we operate under

Five interdependent principles. Remove one and the structure weakens. Train all five and the practice holds.

N-01

Excellence

Constant improvement through deliberate practice and attention to detail.

N-02

Discipline

Showing up, embracing challenges, and committing to the process.

N-03

Community

An environment where students support each other's growth.

N-04

Humility

Remaining open to learning regardless of experience or rank.

N-05

Adaptability

Solving problems both on and off the mats.

§2.0 Coaching philosophy

Constraints-Led Approach

We do not stockpile techniques. We design conditions that force useful decisions. Understanding compounds. Memorization does not.

Stage 01

Constraint

Set a problem with clear boundaries — position, grip, time, or goal.

Stage 02

Explore

Students test solutions under live pressure with a thinking partner.

Stage 03

Adapt

Refine what works. Discard what fails. Build a solver, not a catalog.

§3.0 Programs
